I had always felt lost in life. Why am I here? Why do I feel so different and like I don’t fit into this system? I wanted to know more, I was desperate to know more, but so scared to ask questions because I thought they never could be answered.
At the same time, I was so fortunate, so intelligent and caring. In my adolescence I was misguided, misled, and I felt like life had no meaning or substance.
When I was 22 that feeling of being lost was finally met with answers. The teacher had always been around, I just wasn’t ripe enough (or had suffered enough) to feel his significance.
I found myself diving deep into the teachings of Buddhist teacher, my uncle, who I’d met previously, but I hadn’t met his message – Life is suffering, without wisdom.
Something switched ON and I was suddenly a full-power spiritual seeker, thirsty for more and more wisdom, depth and spiritual experience. I had tasted what ‘knowledge’ is like when its discovered as an experience, rather than a mental acquisition.
I started living the Truth.
I resolved to leave my life behind and was led on a search that found me on a journey deep into the mysteries of esoteric yoga, meditation and tantra, most of which art forms are almost totally lost today. Im astounded with my privilege. Studying under living-masters, holy scriptures and experiencing the edge of existence, I have never looked back, not once, to that meaningless life once lived.
My journey continued with multitudes of solitary retreats as well as hundreds of hours teacher training, yoga study and practice with well-established masters.
Over 6 years I taught at the Agama headquarters in Thailand and Hridaya headquarters in Mexico, frequented Perth and other countries, spreading the good word – mystical answers and universal experiences. I knew I would return home to Australia.
My greatest joy to guide others and myself along the path of Spiritual transformation. I love the potency of aligning with life’s flow & purpose and of connecting to the Spanda or the innate enthusiasm of our hearts – the present moment. Besides the Hridaya meditation, my greatest growths have come from living in the Hridaya community itself, Hatha Yoga and conscious relationships.
